Under the full control of INEOS, who oversee all football operations, the club is executing a disciplined, data-driven recruitment strategy focused on long-term squad building rather than short-term fixes.

The Premier League window, running from 15 June to 1 September, has seen United adopt a methodical approach. Sporting director Dan Ashworth and his team have identified priority targets across three key positions: a ball-playing centre-back to partner Lisandro Martínez, a box-to-box midfielder with Premier League experience, and a right-sided forward to provide competition and cover.
