Morgan Rogers has described Chelsea as 'the biggest club in London' in his first interview since completing his British-record £117m transfer from Aston Villa. The 23-year-old becomes the most expensive signing in British football history, surpassing Enzo Fernández's £106.8m move to the same club in 2023.

"I'm excited to join the biggest club in London and to work under a manager like Xabi Alonso," Rogers said. "The project here is special — you can feel the energy and ambition. When I spoke to the manager and understood how he sees me fitting into his system, it was an easy decision."
